We are a 2 Doctor, 1 Nurse Practitioner and 1 Practice Nurse and Health Care Assistant with approximately 5200 patients aged from 1 day to 102 years. We are dedicated to quality medical care and believe in giving all our patients the treatment and information they need to make themselves as healthy as possible.
Health care is a partnership and our patients are encouraged to take an active part in all of their treatment.
All our staff working in our practice are committed to enabling you to enjoy the best possible health. This involves us providing the best care and medicines within the resources available to us, and keeping you involved and informed at all stages of your care.
To help us meet your needs we will sometimes have to work closely with other agencies like hospital and community NHS trusts, local authority services e.g social services & housing departments and voluntary agencies.
To help us achieve these objectives we ask that you play your own role in this partnership. This involves you taking responsibility for your own health with reagrd to diet, exercise, smoking and any steps needed to maintain a healthy life style. We would like you to take into account of our needs in respecting your doctors advice "taking any medications as directed and accessing services appropriately. This last point involves for example:
- Requesting home visit only when really necessary.
- Arriving on time or a few minutes early for your appointment
- Informing us if you cannot attend a book appointment
- Informing us of any change in address, or phone numbers.
